  2. The weather is mild, and the night is neither hot nor cold, but temperate and comfortable.
  3. The night is calm, and a Muslim feels an unusual sense of peace and tranquility. Also, the sky is clear, and the atmosphere is still, without any storms or disturbances.

Virtues of Laylat al-Qadr

  • Forgiveness of all sins. On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “Whoever stands (in prayer) during Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven; and whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
  • On this night, the angels descend to earth with goodness, blessings, mercy, and forgiveness.
  • A night free from evil and harm, in which acts of obedience, goodness, and righteousness abound, and safety from punishment increases; for it is peace in its entirety.
